Hi there! Welcome to Infinite Golden Floors. I’m Jessica, a 23 year old recent graduate living and working near New York City. You may or may not know me from my many years on the internet and many different blogs. I started off as a book blogger, but after graduating high school, I also wanted to start documenting my college experience. From there, the original iteration of Infinite Golden Floors was born. The blog’s title comes from one of my favorite lines of poetry – “They who dance/Find infinite golden floors/Beneath their feet” (Love Poems in Autumn, Marjorie Allen Seiffert).

Now, I’ve graduated from college / university, and I have more time and motivation to dedicate to blogging. I’ll be talking about life as a recent college graduate trying to navigate the workplace; my travels; books, music, TV shows, and movies I watch; and more. I have interview and guest feature ideas in mind, and I’m so excited to bring them to life. I love a good discussion post or thought-provoking piece. Although Infinite Golden Floors isn’t specifically about politics or social justice, because my politics are a core part of how I see the world and engage with things, my content will often feature a justice lens. My hope is to make this a welcoming, community-minded space for all, especially for marginalized folks.

As I sort out how my blog looks, I’ll be reposting a few blog posts from the original Infinite Golden Floors. These are posts that still speak to me and that I would like to live here. Generally, I’m thinking that I’ll keep to Tuesdays as my post days, with the occasional later-in-the-week post if I’m feeling up to two posts that week.
