About

About Me

I’m Jessica (she/her/hers), a 28 year old living in New York and trying to figure out life.

I’m USian (American), Taiwanese-Chinese, and Brazilian. I love to read, and you may know me from my book blogging days. I occasionally dabble in creative writing, especially lyric writing. I’m a dancer and balletomane. An earrings and red lipstick enthusiast, a feminist, activist/novice organizer. I’m a wanderlust traveler and an aspiring polyglot. I enjoy both a good cup of coffee and tea but am admittedly a bit of a coffee snob. I love binge-watching TV shows and movies, and I love sad girl music (among others). Harvard and CUNY grad.

About Infinite Golden Floors

Infinite Golden Floors was created in late 2020 as an iteration and expansion of my former book blog and bookstagram, Fly to Fiction. While books remain a central part of IGF and my Instagram page, it’s not the only focus. I have always been a multi-passionate person, and it didn’t fit – in my mind – to extend a project called Fly to Fiction to all these other areas that I want to talk and write and share about. Thus, Infinite Golden Floors was born.

The name comes from a poem by Marjorie Allen Seiffert that I found around the 4th grade for poem in your pocket day and that has stuck with me ever since. As a dancer, it resonated with me. But even more than that, I have come to see it as meaning infinite possibilities and hope, and that somehow seemed to capture some essence of my online presence and this project.

As Infinite Golden Floors evolves as I evolve, it is a space to share and connect with others about hobbies and passions – reading, dance, knitting, music, TV, movies, travel, and more.

They who dance find infinite golden floors beneath their feet.
